Zealous for Good Works!

Truth be told?  But of course!  I had to stop the busyness of my morning to first be with the Lord.  And WOW....yes, He speaks.  Our part, listen.

I heard Him say to be 'zealous for good works!'

He gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.  Titus 2:14

What are you zealous for - burning with passion for?

  1. That God use me for his purpose. That I seek his will in my life.

    1. I highly suspect if you seek His will, He will be working through your life for His purpose...smiles!

    2. Amen, until a seed goes into the ground and dies, then and only then will it produce much fruit. :)

  2. I have no doubt that the Lord will use you for great things and to draw those that are lost to the Kingdom Of God...amen!

    John 14:12-13
Jesus says that if anyone asks for anything in his name it will be given to them so that the Son might bring glory to the Father.

  3. I'm zealous to show people who think they hate Jesus, that it's we Christians, not Jesus, that they have been seeing. There are some who are still going to reject a king, it's true. But there are many who, if I unpack their objections, I find that I share them, and I suspect Jesus does too.

  4. We share the same view Dan! It's like Matt. 10:40 He who receive YOU receive ME and he who receives Me, receives the one who sent me. Accept us, accept Him; reject us, reject HIm.

    1. Actually I was thinking the other direction, Sydney, though what you say is also true to the extent we act like Jesus. I'm more concerned about the people who reject Jesus in ignorance, not because of who Jesus is, but who we are while we scream his name. These are the ones Jesus was talking about in Matt. 18:6-7 and parallels. I go into a little more detail about this over on my blog, if you're interested.
