What do you say?

Who do YOU say that I am?
Jesus said, “But who do you say that I am?”

Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Peter, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.  Matthew 16:15-17 NKJV

  1. Who are you? and Jesus answered "I AM"
And for this the leaders tried to stone Jesus for blasphemy. Funny, because they were the ones who really were the blasphemers. Jesus is God and they were attacking the very God they claimed to serve. Blind eyes and deaf ears. My suggestion: don't be blind or deaf to God. He will always be here for you, beacause He "IS".......

When I think of the blind eyes & deaf ears, I think of insisting on seeing & hearing God the way we have been taught or we believe to be right.

There is a scrippy that says if they would just TURN to Him, He would remove the veil that is over their heart.

I love that He is the revealer of truth.

    2. Thanks for sharing!
Some people see Jesus as the way they see others in this world (I use to think this way before following Christ) There's NO comparision...HE is the role model/leader in the way we should be...loving, kind, selfless, faithful, truthful, caring, giving, listener, obedient, and trusting God in all things.

  2. Cheri and Karen, you have spoken what my heart is feeling. Jesus is unique to us in so many personal ways, but more than anything, He is the Son of God, our Savior. And so much more.

  3. Oh, I like it! I wonder what people who don't anything about God would say if asked: Who do you say Jesus is? Think I'll try asking that question.
